Some people were together at a dinner party and the conversation turned to psychological and other labels: “What’s your Myers-Briggs personality chart?” “What’s your Enneagram number?” There emerged an eager and animated sharing.
One person, however, a young mother and nurse, remained silent throughout. Finally someone asked her: “Where do you land in all of this?” Her answer: “I have an unlisted number!”

PONDER AND CONSIDER
- Numbers and other typographies can can easily become labels and labels stick! Pigeonholing someone does not respect the beautiful complexities of who we are as unique individuals. Perhaps we need to let go of labels and try to let the truth speak independently of them.
- Let your life unfold and opt for an unlisted number thus allowing for the necessary freedom to grow, evolve and become.
